Honest, I didn't put out more bird seed
But I also didn't pick up all of the pieces of the broken feeder poles either, although I doubt if that had anything to do with it.
With what you ask?
A very short while after Lisa left for the day, baby bear brought mama back today, at least I think it was mama. You can judge for yourself, from the images below.

Looks like a big bear to me!

Walking towards the downed feeder pole and the house. Maybe 20 feet away.

Baby bear (not really a baby anymore I guess) tagging along.
So I really guess I can't put the feeders back up until winter, unless I put an electric fence around them. (I am thinking about it).

Wow this is awesome!!!
I don't know WHAT to think ;I think they're trying to move in..Did you see any last year?.
Good Luck
Marie
I have no record of bears (or destroyed bird feeders) from last year. Although the previous owners (Pam) responded to my first post saying they had them too, and there are broken feeder poles still cememted into the ground as proof.
Scarrrrry! Good luck with that.
Better not come home from dinner with any crumbs on your clothing! xoxo
